Revenue expanded at a compound annual rate of 2.47% through the end of 2026, reaching $28.81 billion, though growth slowed to 0.52% this year as rising costs overtook rising volumes. Diesel drove most of that, with the ceasefire covering the Strait of Hormuz expiring in August and on-highway retail prices reaching $5.454 a gallon, $1.74 above the prior year. Section 232 tariffs of 75% on most trucks and 50% on trailers compounded that by raising the cost of both replacing and repairing equipment. Profit fell from 7.4% of revenue in 2025 to 6.4% in 2026.
