WPP improved business leads to growth in 2021
On February 24, 2022, WPP reportedly made £12.8 billion ($16.8 billion) which is a 6.7% increase from last year. The company cited improvements in its business portfolio from key acquisitions of companies like Satalia, as well as strong performance in its GroupM subsidiary as reasons why it saw growth in the year. WPP did well enough in 2021 that it saw its fastest year of growth in over 20 years, leading the company to have already hit its targeted benchmarks for 2023, making the company two years ahead of its plans.
